The Magellan of beers, this West Coast-style IPA circumnavigates the world of hops in a global tour-de-force of stonefruit, citrus and grape punch, balanced by a delicate bitterness and backed with a dry, moreish finish for a united nation of harmonious flavour. Excelsior!

We may be stuck at home more often than we’d like to be at the moment, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still dream large and let our imaginations take flight. So in celebration of IPA Day, we’ve made the world our oyster with the expansive flavours of our latest Akasha Project, the Grand Tour IPA!

A globetrotting showcase of our favourite hops from top-performing hop regions across Australia, New Zealand, the US and Europe, Grand Tour represents an experimental adventure that unites signature characters of each locale in a multifaceted, multinational beer of monumental proportions that’s sure to make your mouth water.

Despite its diverse provenance, this is a classic Akasha West Coast IPA, with the balance of power brilliantly struck between malt and hops and a sabre-rattling ABV of 7.2%. Slightly lighter in colour than Hopsmith, Grand Tour’s up-front fruit punch, delicate bitterness and dry, moreish finish represents a real hands-across-the-ocean coming together of stonefruit, citrus, grape and melon characters singing in perfect harmony on the palate.

Brewed especially for IPA Day and for our now postponed IPA Invitational event, this is a drop for the worldly hop lover, the discerning drinker who knows their latitude from their longitude and who longs for what lies beyond the horizon of what’s possible in beer.
