A tangy, lipsmacking beer if ever there was one, it’s a polyamorous explosion of grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruits, all enlivened with lashings of cherry and a light bitterness that made our French brewer Antoine swoon.
The Mon Cheri is the end result of 200kg of fresh cherry purée, buckets of Talus hops with a hint of florals, and the very cool, very nouveau Philly sour yeast strain – brought together with the typical Akasha eye for quality, balance and freshness. And it’s an absolute banger.
