Ye gods, how time flies! This April, Akasha celebrates its 6th birthday, and we’re planning to party like nobody’s business.
That’s right, it’s been six years since we first opened the doors in Five Dock, and what a ride it’s been: new friends, endless experimentation, constant refinement, a slew of limited release brews, a whole-of-brand refresh + Taproom reno, and – most recently – multiple entries on the GABS Hottest 100 list with our Hopsmith and Mosaic IPA, and the mighty Korben.
Epic stuff indeed – and it’s all thanks to you, dedicated beer lover. Without you, and the support of our families and crew, we wouldn’t be where we are.
To celebrate our 6th birthday, we’ve got a bunch of stuff going on at the Taproom that we’d love you to be part of – a whole week of awesome, in fact.

THU 15 APR – LOCALS NIGHT:
Head on down to our Five Dock Taproom for the first opportunity to try our new Akasha Project releases on tap and snap up some $5 core range schooners – we’ll supply the nibbles and good times throughout the night! Brisket & Brawn will be joining the celebrations from this day onwards!
FRI 16 APR – PARTY NIGHT:
Come along for a night of casual celebration as we spin some of our favourite tunes – with 20% off Growler fills ALL DAY!
SAT 17 APR – ALL DAY PARTY! (NO BOOKINGS):
Come one come all for the main event, as we celebrate not only our birthday but our community of beer lovers with Lucky Door Prizes, Games, Comps, Giveaways and more! Mingle with the Akasha Crew as we stay open until 10pm!
SUN 18 APR – FAMILY/DOG DAY:
Get your yaaar on at Akasha with Pirate-themed dress-ups, kid’s face-painting and doggie treats for your furry friends.
